Music FUN!!!
This is the tip of the iceberg of all the things you can find at our Support Group! Come check us out!
I wrote this song for Alan Munford for voting 650 times for me in one month on Artist Signal. Click here to listen to the song, TROUBLE.
Here is another song I wrote for Rhonda Ward for the votes she gave me in the month of December, which is the month I actually won! WooHoo! I think she had a large part of that win, Thank you! Listen to the song THE STRANGER.
Here is a couple cover tunes I did for several friends in the group, we were goofing one day and played trivia and these songs were the rewards for their participation, what fun, be sure to join us at The Rebecca Hosking Support Group.
Cover Songs
The Promise for Helen Bawden

New Page
2015 has brought many changes, trying to keep up with them all has been the challenge. I started the new year celebrating with my friends a win from Artist Signal. There are so many to thank for that and we finally got through the rewards, I do hope you all enjoyed your gifts. I could not do this one alone it was a joint effort and I will forever be grateful for everything so many did for me. That was hard earned money and has been a catalyst of many new things in my music career. It was rough around the edges, but I walked away from the entire experience with some extra money to help my music, a little wiser and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Since then I have gone on to have countless songs picked up for TV programs aired world wide on networks like, NBC, ESPN, SyFy, A&E and many more. I have had countless single song deals and was added to several libraries and solicit my work daily always looking for new opportunities. I have been getting airplay on both Indie and mainstream radio. The fan base is growing and is comprised of amazing friends sharing this journey right along with me. Come check out our family at the Facebook Support Group there we play games, share new music, chat and enjoy each others company. Its a great group and spreads world wide and we all learn so much about different cultures due to the diversity. I am very proud of our family and keep everyone up to date daily. All my links and social media is listed along the side panel, please follow and share them all.
Those who know me know I thrive on creativity. I love music and poetry and drawing and lately having a bit of extra time on my hands has afforded me to excel and feed my artistic whims. I decided to add another page to the blog and share my music and art like I do my poetry and have a one stop place for people to come and participate or simply enjoy the art.
Thank you for your support always, this journey is only beginning I hope you stick around for the ride. I cannot be ME with out all of YOU! Thank you for helping me keep my dreams alive. The new year is fast approaching, can't wait to see what the future holds for us all.

The Power of Positivity
The Power of Positivity
July 3, 2014
Have you ever been on the street driving and you hit every single red light. This always happens when you are running late and in a panic right? But on the days you haven't a care in the world, it is smooth sailing. Coincidence, I do not think so. Our reaction to the world around us plays a huge role in our everyday lives and how others interact with us.
It sounds easy enough, but I realize it is not realistically easily obtained. It takes great concentration and training to react in a positive way, especially on the days the world seems to be against you. But try it and when you succeed the results are astounding especially on the days nothing is going right, its hard but a positive reaction can quickly change a day headed south.
Prayer has been proven to work, I think it is a reactionary result of being so concentrated on the one thing you been praying for we inevitably bring about the end result through seeing no other option but success.
The sky is the limit, dream as big as your heart will allow and watch the actions unfold. Whatever your beliefs spiritually, whatever guidance is chosen; ultimately you have to do the work, reward yourself when you do good and don't beat yourself up when you fail. Because if you have put your full effort into everything you want to achieve then failure does not exist.
I know you have heard it a million times before, but it works and here is a little reminder; there is nothing a smile can't cure. Keep the positive attitude and always help your fellow man, there is no other way to go but up from there, the rewards are great and always just.
Sending my love to you all with a smile and loving heart. I believe I will succeed. If I fail, I will try again and again with confidence. I will train my brain to view life in no other way. Godspeed!

All you creative types out there, I know feel my pain on this one. Us artsy types can sure be moody at the best of times and boy, look out if it is not our better moments. I typically move forward with the best intentions as I believe most of us do. But living with a creative heart can present some obstacles at times, especially for the ones around us.
My biggest fear is acceptance and I go to great lengths to reach people in a positive way through my art. I know it is unrealistic to believe I can reach every single person since art is so subjective. However, there is still no sense in not trying. If it makes me smile I can only hope it will make a few others smile too. I prefer the old adage, if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all, but everyone is worthy of an opinion, so please never hesitate to be honest, I can only hope it serves to make me stronger.
I believe self discipline and keeping myself in check from time to time is key to keeping my creative flow alive. Life can sure throw some monkey wrenches in our program, but it is how we roll with the punches as to the outcome we ourselves ultimately define.
Whether you believe in fate, random acts or whatever, we can be our own worst enemy or the positive force that makes us strive. I'm the world's worse at moodiness and that is why I speak on such authority. I need to find balance and control. When things get chaotic I spiral down and tend to overlook the things that truly make me happy. Nothing is ever permanent, be it happy or sad moments, all things run in cycles, its our job to handle each cycle with style and grace.
Good, bad or indifferent if we had the ability to accept and behave in the same fashion no matter what is thrown our way, we have the ability to stand strong in the face of adversity the same way we absorb good will. No matter what comes our way we got it covered.
As I discussed before we live in a society riddled with frustrations and inconsiderate practices, but we need to start with ourselves and believe one person will make a difference. I'm only human and I know I have made countless mistakes along the way, I can only ask for forgiveness from those I have wronged, prayers for those who feel compelled to wrong others and courage to stand strong in my convictions.
Go on and seek your strength through whatever means, let go and let God so to speak. We're all in this together, might as well learn to get along. So the next time you are faced with turmoil, you have to believe nothing is permanent as long as you can acknowledge, accept and acclimate.

Never Stop Trying
Never Stop Trying

What have you got to lose, if you do not make your goal the first time keep on going nothing gained nothing lost. It is easy to get discouraged and start putting into motion, feeling sorry for yourself and even bitterness. This bitterness is a cancer and consumes every part of your being. I'm not going to lie sometimes for a moment it feels good to vent, but this venting creates habits, powerful suggestions that start eating you from the inside out.
Our brains work through habits and as easy as it is to create bad ones we can use the same techniques to implement good and healthy behavior as well. I stumbled across this teaching at one point maybe about a year ago, it is a short read and seemed so simple, but yet I still have not completed the task it suggests. Creating a new habit of positive thinking. It is called The Seven Day Diet, by Emmet Fox.
It seems easy enough, but with daily stresses, our own human conditions and the negativity that surrounds each of us daily, these things can really hinder success. Think of a world where no negativity can penetrate your brain, think of the benefits this would create. When you visualize something I believe you make it happen good or bad. Have you ever had a sense of strong foreboding, shortly after something bad happened? Did we create the mishap through power of suggestion? maybe, maybe not, but if we visualize success, I also feel confident that success is sure to follow.
I have tried and have yet to accomplish this, but I have not given up. When I fail as it says wait awhile and then I start all over again. I'm on the same journey and I'm certainly not trying to down play the challenge by any means. It is difficult but I'm determined and I will never stop trying. After all a world of positivity seems so much more greater and beneficial than that of negative thoughts. Sometimes happy accidents create a kingdom even our own minds may not have been able to fathom.
Let me hear your stories, post comments and share your own successes or failures. I'm always open to learn of new tactics that worked for others. Those who have failed as I have, maybe we can work out a solution together.
Happy dieting.
